Infraspec

The people you call when production gets interesting.

We're engineers working across observability, reliability, platform and infrastructure.

Some of us like distributed systems slightly more than is probably healthy.

All of us like production working. Hehe.

Five years in. Still allergic to avoidable chaos.

Production has a way of humbling even the prettiest architecture diagram.

We started Infraspec because too many good engineers were spending their days deciphering alerts, nursing fragile pipelines and being the only person who knew where the switches were. That isn't a badge of honour. It's a sign the system needs help.

Five years of working close to real production has only made us more stubborn about the answer. Observability should tell the truth. Reliability should be designed in, not wished for. Platforms should make shipping easier, not turn every deploy into a scavenger hunt.

We do the deep work behind the scenes so the people building what's next don't have to spend their best hours keeping yesterday alive.

Meet the people who thought running infrastructure sounded like a good idea.

Abhishek Sangwan

Founder

At GO-JEK, Abhishek helped Go-Send scale beyond 10 million orders a month and worked on moving Go-Pay's core payment systems to Kubernetes. He co-presented that migration at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe in 2019 before bringing his distributed-systems experience to Infraspec.

Founder

Before co-founding Infraspec in 2021, Chetan worked on observability for a high-growth delivery platform and infrastructure automation for a startup. He wrote about test-driven software design in 2023 and later documented the team's self-hosted AI setup with Ollama and Open WebUI.

Founder

Before co-founding Infraspec, Vijay helped build GO-JEK's infrastructure across infrastructure as code, networking and service observability. He spoke at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon China in 2018 and has organized DevOpsDays Bengaluru since 2017.

Serious about engineering. Delightfully unserious about pretty much everything else.

We spend our days thinking about production systems, distributed architectures and things that absolutely should not break.

So when we're not doing that, we make room for a little lightheartedness.

There are no grand hierarchies to navigate here. Leadership is accessible, conversations are open and the best idea wins, regardless of whose name is on the org chart.

We collaborate freely, argue constructively and occasionally spend far too much time debating things that have absolutely no impact on production.

There are munchies for every mood, a mini library for when you want to pretend you're being productive, board games for when you're definitely not, and a healthy amount of good-natured banter.

Good people. Good work. Good snacks. Very little ceremony.

We're engineers. We like solving hard problems.

We also like going home on time.
